Michelle Shapiro (she/her) is an actress, dancer and singer from Long Island, NY.  She graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2021 with a BFA in Musical Theatre. While at WCSU, she strengthened her skills and also honed new ones with the help of several industry professionals including Michael Bartoli, Scott Wise, Elizabeth Parkinson and Mary Ann Lamb.

In 2020, she was nominated for an Irene Ryan Award at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for originating the role of Frances O'Connell in the original musical, The Radium Girls: A Jaw-Dropping New Musical.

When she isn't auditioning and performing, Michelle has recently found a new passion in life; teaching. Bringing theatre education into the lives of young artists has only reinforced her love for theatre and is a constant reminder of why she started this career path in the first place.

Michelle is also a self-taught photographer, specializing in lifestyle shots, capturing her clients' authenticity. You can check out some of her work at michelleshapirophotography.com.

The Hot Box Girls, who perform with Adelaide at the Hot Box club, looked fabulous in their showgirl costumes. They are all talented performers, and a big round of applause goes out to them.
